The region of the 'Meetjesland' is situated in the northwest of the Belgian province 'Oost-Vlaanderen'. It's a rural, green region between Gent en Brugge. The north border is the province 'Zeeuws-Vlaanderen' of the Netherlands, the province 'West-Vlaanderen' is situated in the west.  The east and south is the region of Gent. The 'Meetjesland' is one of the offical recognized Flemisch regional landscapes.
